–Pinterest fail alert! I wanted to make these Pizza Pastry Puffs and it seemed simple enough. Have you guys ever worked with the pastry sheets from the frozen section of the grocery store??? They are the most infuriating things ever!!! They make such a mess and to be honest, I think this would taste better with crescent rolls. Which is what I plan on doing next time! #ittastesbetterthanitlooks

–I don’t wash delicates separate from regular clothes. That sounds like an awful lot of extra work. And time. #lazy

–My Fitbit battery died the other day when I wasn’t paying attention and I felt as if I wasted so many great steps for nothing. Why move if it isn’t being counted? #fitbitprobz

–I had the best freaking time with my nephew at the pumpkin patch on Monday. Cooper and his little classmates are just so darn cute, and they were so excited about everything! #kindergartenersarecute

–I really wanted to bring home Brody the pig. We bonded. He totally begged me for pets and his little nose was going a mile a minute. #petnapping

–Turkeys scare the shit out of me….

That turkey was an ass and got his feathers in a ruffle when we walked up to him. I’ll see you on a platter for Thanksgiving you evil little bird. Just don’t talk to me about bacon, ok? #gobblegobblegobble

–I thought it was pretty funny to watch a lot of the little girls chasing after Cooper. Apparently, he is a real ladies man. This doesn’t surprise me at all, as he has had game since he was in diapers and I can see that my sister is going to have trouble on her hands big time with this one. #ladiesman

–I had my first PSL of the season last week. I didn’t love it. There. I said it. I know that they put “real pumpkin” in it or whatever this year. Perhaps I like the fake shit better? Or perhaps they just aren’t as good to me as they once were. RIP PSL memories. I shall stick to the Salted Caramel Mocha from now on. #needcaffeine #notsuchabasicbitch

–I have worn dresses all summer long. I did not put pants on a single time. Last week I pulled all my pants out to start wearing. They are all too big. This is normally a good problem, right?? Until you realize that you have to buy all new ones. I think my actual body shape has changed. I am literally running my ass off. #baggyjeans

–Which brings me to the fact that I hate jeans shopping. Hate. Hate. Hate. Loathe. #firstworldproblems

–If I have to wear a band-aid, it is a Hello Kitty or some other children’s character. Why buy the ugly plain ones when there are options???? These are what I am sporting on my ankle right now! #firstaidfashion

–I have played the Photograph song by Ed Sheeran probably 50 times this week. I can’t help it, I love it!!! #iwearoutsongs

–Speaking of music, I got excited because I usually allow myself to start listening to Christmas music full time starting November 1st and I just realized that is a month away! #christmasmusicallyearlong

–I started a new book (The Light of Day) this week that I cannot put down!!! I am already 41% done with it and I started it Monday. I don’t even know what it is that has me so hooked but I have to know more!

–Speaking of books, I have already started working on my Show Us Your Books link up post for next month. I review each book as I go so I don’t forget anything! Does anyone else do that?

–My workouts are all over the place lately. Yesterday I ran so hard and really pushed myself. I felt so good after my workout. Today? I barely squeaked by on leg day. I mean….I got the workout in, but I just wasn’t in to it. Wasn’t giving it my all. I have got to get motivated again!!! Where do you pull your motivation from?

Confession – I LOVE FALL

It’s September 23rd!!! IT’S FALL!!! It is also my dad’s birthday. Happy Birthday, Dad! How cool would it be to be born on the first day of the best season of all?

It is no secret around these parts that I love fall and everything about it. I am excited for cool, crisp mornings with the fog lingering over the mountain. The crackling of the fireplace. The smell of the leaves as they change colors and fall from the trees. Football season is upon us. What is not to love?

Fall Fashion – I love fall colors! Jewel tones seam to suit my pale skin best and fall is all about some jewel toned things. I love metallic polishes, leggings, cute booties, and cozy sweaters.

Fall Scents – Anything pumpkin, marshmallow, spice, sandalwood or Leaves from B&BW is what my home smells like pretty much all of the time.

Fall Recipes – Pumpkins, and soups and chilis oh my!!!

My favorite chili recipe

Fall Beverages – I love apple cider and hot chocolate.

Fall Decor – Pumpkins, burlap, leaves, pine cones, anything burnt orange or dark red. Basically all of the fall things. And don’t forget cozy blankets and throws!

I love the way mercury glass looks lit up at night. So cozy!!!!

Fall Activities – Taking a drive when the leaves are just right, watching football, toasting marshmallows, visiting a pumpkin patch and baking fall treats are my favorite things!

I also love fall because we got married in November. Just look at nature’s beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We didn’t need anything, the trees provided it all!

–Sometimes when you are only needing two lunches for the week, you throw together whatever you have. Grazing for lunch might be my new favorite thing. Veggies with ranch, pita with hummus and a smorgasbord of olives? Don’t mind if I do! #snackforlunch

–Has anyone else noticed that Bloglovin is trying to sneak in some bullshit on our new feed? Bloglovin Fashion, Bloglovin Lifestyle, Bloglovin’ Food, etc. I have un-followed all that shit! Nice try Bloglovin’….nice try. #iunfriendyou

–If you are a morning reader, I am probably in the air between Birmingham and Atlanta or Atlanta and Orlando at this point just trying not to shit my pants on the plane. Oh how I hate flying!!! The struggle is real, you guys. So real. #fearofflying #cantidrive
