–I may or may not have eaten an entire bag of M&M’s in a matter of a few days. OK two days.

–My favorite moment from the weekend? Christopher (my almost 10 year old nephew) introduced me to one of his friends after his basketball game. His friend smiles at me and says “Is that your sister?” Christopher said “No silly, it’s my aunt!!!” I just busted out laughing as my sister (who is four and a half years younger than me) gives me the stink eye. Hehe oh it felt good!!!

PS – Ash is now my favorite friend of Christopher. Obviously.

–I am still addicted to Trivia Crack and I have decided that maybe I should start watching more documentaries and history channel stuff because history is not one of my stronger subjects.

–I am the worst offender of shoulda coulda woulda. I saw the coolest anchor at TJ Maxx awhile back. For some reason, I talked myself out of it. Chris and I were looking for it last week and it wasn’t there. Because duh, it is like Newton’s law of the TJ Maxx/Marshall’s experience that if you didn’t buy it when you saw it, you will never see it again.

–I made myself a cup of coffee because I forgot that I already made myself a cup of coffee. Day, you have been warned.

–When I find a new song that I like, I listen to it over and over and over again. I might be worse than the radio DJ’s about overplaying something

–I was talking to my mom last night on the phone and she told me the weight of her puppies at their vet visit on Monday. I was like ummmm send me a picture. I haven’t seen them since Christmas. You guys….they are HUGE!!! Like I can’t even believe it!! Here are two then and now comparisons…

–Yesterday was one of those days where I hated every single item of clothing I put on. This happens several mornings when hurricane Nadine comes swiping through and destroying everything in site then having to put it all back together because I am OCD.

Seeing Tracy (not to be confused with my sister) do her capsule wardrobe really has me thinking. Perhaps it is time to let go of all the clothes in my closet that I do not love, that do not fit, and that make me feel anger every time I enter to get dressed in the morning. I keep telling myself I have already done that, but clearly I have not.

–I am going to say it. I hate eggs. I hated eggs when I was younger, but started eating them in college because they are cheap and easy to cook. Every time I cook some for Chris now, I put some on my plate and take one bite and can’t do anymore. There, I said it. I hate them.

–I just realized that it is January 28th and I still have a lot of work to do to complete my goals for this month. Looks like it better be a really productive weekend!!!

Sometimes I think the weirdest things, like this….

It looks like it is time for more confessions!

–I made homemade peanut butter cookies for Chris on Sunday evening. For Chris. I have had at least one every day since. I might be eating one as I finish this post.

— The other day I was on Twitter and this girl was making fun of someone for being a positive person. I don’t know why but it really struck a nerve with me. Like what in the actual fuck is wrong with you? Sure, sometimes people will say positive quotes or whatever and it can be a little cheesy, but at last they are spreading happy. I wanted to be like go be a miserable person on Facebook with the rest of the negative nancys!

–I used to be really good with drinking half a lemon in my water every single morning. I quit a long time ago and I don’t know why. Since Monday, I have been back at it with a huge glass on my way to work and I can certainly tell all sorts of differences! Do it folks, it’s magic!

–I did my first HIIT work out this morning and I didn’t hate it. Anything has to be better than Jillian, right??

–Since before Christmas I have been meaning to re-paint my toenails. It is January 21 and it still isn’t done. Ambition.

Surely by now you have all figured out that Melissa has re-erected the confessions link up just like an Original Vampire. Am I the only one out there still watching that show? Because I seriously still love it! And I think that was my first confession today!

–I am seriously loving this cold weather that we have been having lately. I can’t help it, Yankee still runs in my blood.

–I have been staring at the gold dog tape dispenser at Target just about every time I am there. Why does $12.99 sound like a ridiculous amount of money to me to pay for a tape dispenser that I don’t need? But loooooook

–I have two days left of Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. This time it did not leave me shredded and frankly I am sick of JM. I think Joey said it best yesterday – “I want to fling shit at the TV” when she is on.

–Now that I am not listening to Christmas music ever day, I wanted to get some new songs on my Spotify lists. I have attempted to listen to the top 40 station on my way to and from work but like….it’s awful!!! Am I so old that “today’s music” sucks just like Y2K music did to my parents…or does it really just suck these days? It has to be the latter. It just has to. Tell me it is the latter! (With the exception of a few new good songs.

–I have zero interest in award shows anymore. In fact, Monday everyone was all ohhhh that outfit and I was all huh? Apparently some award show was on Sunday night. Meh. Give me all the Revenge and Good Wife!
