Favorite Song:You guys, when I lived in Atlanta I was obsessed with Marvelous Three!!! When they split and Butch Walker went on his own, he put out a few songs that I just adore. Don’t You Think Someone Should Take You Home is one of them. Just so chill. I will heart you forever, Butch Walker!

Favorite Moments:

–Girls night with Laura, Morgan and Erin. We have had two babies enter the world since the last meet up a few months ago! We went to Melt and I had a sangria and the buffalo chicken salad.

–Talking with my husband Wednesday night. Most nights, we have  a routine where we come home, I cook dinner and we watch TV and fall asleep on the couch. Hardly any conversation is had because we are both tired as fuck. Usually once a week…or every other week…we will just sit and talk for an hour or so and it is always fabulous. I never tired of hearing his ideas, frustrations, rants, praises, and everything in between.

–Laura and I checked out Cahaba Brewery’s new location in Avondale. It is so awesome!!! My favorite brewery in town for sure. The place looks amazing, the beer is delicious and they have ski ball. What more can you ask for??

Favorite Recipe: I made Korean BBQ Tacos and Carrot Fries on Wednesday night and it was awesome!!!! I will have the recipes up next week for you all!

Favorite Lust: I need to organize a few cabinet areas in our house and I have had my eyes on all kinds of organizers!

–It hasn’t happened yet. I am waiting for 5:30pm tonight! Haha! You guys, this has been a LONG week and I am so slammed at work I don’t even know how I am going to make some deadlines so I am ready for this weekend.

–Spying on these two sweeties. Our backyard is very large and they have free roam of it when they are out there. However, I would say about 95% of the time you look out there…you see them right next to each other. True best friends!!!

Favorite Recipe: With Valentine’s Day coming up this weekend, I always make a pan of my homemade lasagna with homemade sauce. I have been making this for Chris and I since our very first Valentine’s Day! In fact, this might have been the first dish I ever cooked for him? The picture isn’t that great, as this post is from 2013 and like 5 iPhones ago…but the recipe is still spectacular!

Favorite Workout:I need to get a foam roller so I can do the beginning of this new Popsugar workout but the rest of it is awesome and it is to fight cellulite. I think we could all work on that, right???

Favorite Lust: Most of the time when people comment on my makeup, I am wearing some form of purple shadow. Purple has been my favorite shadow color since high school to be honest. Anyways, I have been scraping the very bottom of my last favorite one that they no longer make and have been on the hunt for some new ones. I have my eyes on this Amethyst Glam palette from Lancome!!! What is your favorite purple shadow?

–Meeting up with Laura yesterday for our “we finished Whole 30” lunch! We checked out a new spot called Sky Castle Gastro Lounge and it. was. awesome. We will be back for sure!!! Pimento Cheese Fritters with Andouille Sausage and the Sky Castle Burger with House Made Pickles. MMMMMMM sadly I only ate about a little less than half the bun before I quit it. Amazing how much your body can change after just 30 days of clean eating!

Favorite Recipe: Paleo/Whole 30 Sloppy Joes! I made this two weeks ago and served it over a baked potato and it was amazing!

Favorite Workout: This one will leave you burning for hours! Popsugar Metabolic Mash Up!

Favorite Lust: Now that one of my favorite shirts fit again, I want this black vest to go with it!

–Planning out all the restaurants Laura and I want to go try when we can eat out again! And well, order more than lettuce and a water!

Favorite Recipes: I have been wanting Thai food for the last few weeks. I came across this Whole 30 compliant Chicken Curry with Cauliflower Rice recipe. I think this will be on the menu next week!

Favorite Workout: Stretching is just as important as your actual workout! I have been feeling stiff lately and really loved this!

Favorite Lust: I want a pair of Vans to pull of a look like below for transitioning from summer to fall and winter to spring. Basically when it isn’t appropriate for flip flops but too hot for boots.

Favorite Song: Chris and his friend are obsessed with this Australian DJ chick, Alison Wonderland. I have to admit, her music is pretty damn cool. She is coming to Opera in Atlanta next month and I know that they will be going. I am on the fence on whether I want to go with them. Clubs are so not my scene. Also, I am like 10 years too old to be at a place like Opera. Either way….take a listen to Run, you might find a new favorite. And if you search Youtube for her, you will find all kinds of gems. Favorite Recipe: Laura sent me this recipe for Tandoori Chicken after she made it this week. She said it was awsome, I cant wait to try it next week for dinner!

Favorite Workout: This workout is awesome! You know you have 30 minutes, so just do it! NO EXCUSE!

Favorite Lust: I need to get a new moisturizer soon, as my Pond’s one is nearly finished. I was looking at Belif, I have seen several people talk about it. What are your thoughts? I want something that is going to be moisturizing without overkill for my combo skin, and anti-aging. What’s your favorite?

Favorite Dog Sightings: It was freezing cold here on Monday. We are talking teens in the morning and the highs never made it out of the 30’s. I put a lightening bolt sweater on Mac and Gracie sported her old pink jacket from many seasons ago. Does a pink parka ever go out of style? I think not!

Gracie was so bored with her photo shoot…look at her yawning!

Then she humors me for one second before giving me the “seriously mom, just stop” look. She spent 10 years perfecting that face.
