Favorite Recipe: My mom was talking about kielbasa the other day and it has literally been years since I have had any. I took to Pinterest to find a recipe to try soon and I found this crock pot one. Sounds delicious and easy, a dump and cook. My favorite!

Favorite Lust: This one might be more of a goal than a lust. Last year I was obsessed with the faux leather legging look. I grabbed a pair of black leggings from Target that had a leather strip down them because I felt my legs were not ready to be in leather. This year it is my goal to get these legs toned enough to wear a pair!

I have two baby showers, a baseball game and a possible quick trip to Atlanta this weekend not to mention that I need to pack for my Orlando work trip because I leave Wednesday morning. Needless to say, it will be a busy one for sure!!! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!

Favorite Skin Products: My face has been the worst it has been in my entire life. Nothing seems to help me. After talking to Amanda, I started using the Bare Minerals Blemish Therapy last week and the Lush Ultrabland this week. I have to say….I am impressed. While I am no where near “clear” right now, nothing new has sprung up this week and some of the irritated red splotches on my cheeks have calmed the effff down. I am hoping with my continued combined use, I can start looking like myself again.
Favorite Recipe:I made the Thai Peanut Spaghetti Squash recipe that has been all over Pinterest lately. This was amazing!!! The recipe for the peanut sauce actually makes way more than you need and now I am dreaming up what I can do with all that left over. Mmmm. I may or may not have eaten a few spoonfuls of just the sauce before refrigerating it. No shame.
Favorite Workout: I had two amazing runs this week. I have realized that if I get out of my head and stop telling myself I have a limit, I get a lot further. Imagine that! This was from this morning, I hit a new for me PR and had to give myself a fist bump after sending my sweaty selfie to my ahole bro group. Shout out to my ladies who give me all the motivation and laughs!!!
I found this on Pinterest and plan to start it next week on the days I do my arm workout.

Favorite Song: DJ Snake & Aluna George You Know You Like This. This song has the weirdest freaking video ever with the ape and what not, but the song is awesome and I like to run to it. I know the video has a deeper meaning, but I like to make the joke “no one knows the struggle of the ape.”
Favorite Delivery: My Sephora package arrived! I had run out of foundation and am going back to an old friend, Make Up Forever. I also grabbed the Bare Minerals Blemish Therapy, my free NARS birthday gift and I received a few other free samples! I will let you know my thoughts on all of it soon!
Favorite Product Find:Piper Wai natural deodorant. I have been looking at natural deodorants for awhile. I have become increasingly paranoid at all the toxins I come in contact with on a daily basis. The natural deodorants at places like Target you just cant trust. Or at least, I can’t. I’ve tried.
You want the real life? I am a sweater. I am from the north and I have chosen to live in the south where temperatures make you fully aware that hell really does exist and we are living in it. My northern blood hates to get hot, and it doesn’t take much for me to feel like I am dying. So when Amanda shared this deodorant I immediately emailed her and asked to give me the real 411 on it.
While the paste is a bit weird to apply, I was surprised at how quickly it vanished in to my skin and how I was instantly ready to get dressed. The scent is a clean smell, and honestly could go for a guy or girl. You use a small pea size amount, so it looks like the container will last awhile. It has held up during my work outs this week and I am impressed.
Pay no attention to my nail polish. I had just gotten done scrubbing the shit out of my nails after doing super muddy yard work and had chipped off a lot of my polish.
Favorite Beauty Hack: I received the Sally Hansen VoxBox from Influenster a few weeks ago and I have to say, I am really liking the Airbrush Legs! I haven’t been to the beach since July 4th and so I am turning in to my pale self again. Also, my legs have some imperfections with scars from various cuts and bruises from being a klutz and most recently I have about 15 fire ant bites on my ankles from cutting grass. It is still hot as crap outside, so I am wearing dresses all of the time. I love the fact that I can rub this stuff on as part of my hair and make up routine in the morning before I get dressed to give it time to dry. Then I am out with perfectly even toned legs with a splash of color that is believable. Also, you can totally wash this stuff off with soap and water so no harm no foul.
Favorite Recipe: I made this Korean Grilled Chicken Wednesday night. I followed the recipe perfectly with the exception of cooking it on the foreman instead of a grill. It was delicious!!! The green beans were bathed in some olive oil, Parmesan cheese and garlic salt and cooked for 15 minutes at 425 degrees.

Favorite Song:Go ahead and turn up your volume for this one! Everything by Buckcherry. This song is certainly not new, but it has been on repeat in the mornings for me. I just love his voice and this is such a great song. Give it a listen!
Favorite Moment: Hanging out with Laura last night!!!! She took me out for my birthday and we ended up at Five Points Public House Oyster Bar and you guys….it was AMAZING!!! Obviously, in her company everything is awesome. But the food. OMG. Party in my mouth. Birmingham peeps, get over there NOW!
We started off with the beer battered cheese curds with jalalpeno aoili. I have never had the chance to try cheese curds before, and since Laura is from WI she was super excited to see these on the menu. DELICIOUS!!!!
For my main course, I had the Chicharron Burger which was aged hereford beef, queso poblano, jalapeno relish, chicharrones on a brioche bun with house fries. And they make their own ketchup which was divine!
In the background you can see Laura’s chicken and biscuit sandwich with a white cheddar biscuit, fried chicken, bourbon maple butter, pickles and a side of succotash. We each cut off a little piece of our food for each other to try, because that is what bloggers foodies do!
Then….Laura basically forced this fried double doozie cookie with some kind of heavenly cream chocolate alcohol sauce down my throat. Holy geez you guys. It was freaking amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best. Meal. Ever. Sorry not sorry about the food porn. Also, I clearly cried during my run this morning.
Favorite Tea:Country Peach Passion by Celestial. This tea is amazing!!!! A definite new favorite of mine. I really enjoy this one because the peach flavor is real, but this tea in general is not overpowering. I love TAZO, I really do. But sometimes the flavor is so strong I am like WHOA! This one is much more delicate but full of flavor. If that makes sense?
Favorite Hair Product: I bought this brush a few months ago at TJ Maxx and it is the best $5.99 I have ever spent in my life!!! I don’t recall the brand name or anything, but it is quite obvious when you are looking at brushes which one this is compared to others. It is the best detangler I have ever used! My hair is super fine and tangles so easily. Combing my hair out after a shower used to be so painful, even after I sprayed children’s detangler on it. With this brush? NO PROBLEMS!!! I think wizards made this or something. If you have tangled hair, do yourself a favor and run do not walk and grab yourself one!

I am not sure what I will be getting in to this weekend, I feel exhausted! We had a scare with my nephew last night. All is ok now, but man does your adrenaline start pumping when you get that call!!I spent a few hours with them at the ER last night and I just don’t know how parents do it. I saw several rooms with kids and their parents looking all worried and pacing. I freak out when my dog has to get to the vet…I just can’t.
