–Everyone has been posting about how excited they are for the Lily collection to hit Target. Confession? I never really cared for LP and actually made fun of people for paying ridiculous amounts of money for a dress that looks like the wallpaper of a 85 year old’s bathroom…until I saw the collection for Target. Some of the stuff is actually really cute! #cheaperismoreappealing
–I park towards the back of parking lot’s most days not because I necessarily try to get more steps in, but because I have no patience for the stupid and lazy that block up the entire aisle waiting so that they don’t have to walk an extra five feet. #nopatienceforstupid
–Am I the only one who is sick of seeing blogging rules posts? I get tips and stuff, but rules? Last time I checked this was my blog and I do what I want. If you don’t like it, then don’t read it! #IDoWhatIWant
–I got all warm and fuzzy yesterday when so many of you said that you were proud of me for getting further in my runs and/or being able to cut the entire yard in one session. Seriously, thanks for all the encouragement! It will go a long way on days that I am down. #bloglove
–I don’t get how some people get so excited over April Fool’s day? Like, I like the beginning of each new month and all but the pranks?! Maybe because I am an honest person and a terrible liar…but I just hate all the lame ass pranks that people try to pull. Oh you put salt in the sugar container? Congrats on ruining everyone’s coffee in the break room. #aprilfoolsisforfools
–Is it sad that I am actually going to make it a goal to take more baths? We have a beautiful garden tub in our master bathroom that is rarely ever used. I have scented epsom salts and face masks that I can use on top of the relaxation factor so why not?!

What do you mean blogging rules? Who thinks they get to make RULES? UGH.
And I can’t handle parking lot drama – I park as far away as I can to avoid it too!
90% winning fake arguments – OH MY GOD I AM NOT ALONE?
I too – should not be on a speaker phone ever.
My blogging rule is that there ARE NO RULES 🙂 I totally park far away for the steps AND bc it’s just not worth it to wait in the clogged up areas! I have always thought LP had cute stuff but no way would I ever pay that much money…. Definitely loving the Target cuteness though. Some of their shorts, jewelry etc I might just have to snatch up as a bday gift to myself.
I flat out don’t read posts about blogging period anymore. I hate them.
I park far to be more active and also to avoid the dillholes trying to maneuver into the closest spot possible. RAGE.
I’ve missed the blogging rules posts… probably a good thing.
I totally sing the alphabet song too… & always do math on my fingers. I am 5.
Blogging rules? The hell?
I don’t get April Fools Day either. I’m not fond of practical jokes and the fact that there’s a whole day for them makes me angry. Although, some of the company ones are funny. Did you see the one Disney did about changing the name of Cinderella’s castle? I have a friend who totally fell for it.
I definitely sing the alphabet. #noshame
RULES. Whatevs. My blog, my rules. Also you know I’m right there with you on the LP — and I don’t think it matters where I park, because if someone is going to lawn mow, clearly a giant rock is going to hit and shatter my back windshield no matter where I am. #hate
I didn’t even glance at the LP collection because I could not agree more that it looks like it came out of a gma’s bathroom! Guess I’ll have to check it out… Annd I f*cking HATE MF APRIL FOOLS DAY. Why did google automatically mark it on my calendar?!??!!
any post that appears in my feedly with a title of “how to blog/how to get more traffic/rules of blogging” etc get an immediate “skip” from me. i don’t even bother with them. your blog, your own rules!
I felt the same as you about LP, but the collab at Target is on point! Can’t wait for it to hit stores 🙂
And I also park far away for the extra steps, and to not appear lazy. Not being in the inevitable traffic jam to get in and out is a big bonus.
Random but the woman on the skinny jeans/yoga pants ecard looks like Helena Bonham Carter to me. She needs a much more hardcore witticism to be in character. I also park far away from the front of the store to avoid pedestrians and other drivers. What’s the point in all clustering up near the front when I can walk into the store faster than it’ll take for you to get that close parking spot?
Exact same thoughts on the LP at Target line! Might have to give it a reluctant peek next time I pop in. And that jailtime e-card, too true. Happy Wednesday!
I had never even heard of LP before the Target thing and Amanda’s post. #iliveinthedarkages
I am also a terrible liar, so I don’t even try on April Fools.. or any day for that matter. If it ain’t punny, I don’t bother.
We have a garden tub as well and the milk and honey epsom salts from Target are AHHHHHmazing. They were out of stock last time so I picked up the lavender epsom salt/bubble bath mix (whoever invented that is a genius) and those bubbles last forevvvvvvvarrrrrr and it smells so good. I’m not a huge bath taker, but I’ve been trying to get better about it since I consider it me time with my Kindle and I watch Grey’s or read and leave my cell phone far away so no one can bother me.
I want to check out that Lily line, but I’m not sure if I’ll get anything. The prices will probably be too much for me.
I hate mean jokes on April Fools, those aren’t cool at all.
I park far away just like you!
you totally should take more baths! i have a bath almost every night, love it. i don’t mind the LP collection for target but really i have never been a huge fan of LP either – too much (like bright and wallpapery like you said!) and too expensive!
I don’t April Fool’s Day either. Some of these pranks and jokes that are floating around the interwebs are cruel.
I’m totally with you on Lilly for Target! I never cared for LP,but I have to admit some of those shorts and swimsuits are cuuuute. (And I hate myself a little for thinking that haha)
I am not a fan of LP it is way too “loud” for my taste! I am not a fan of April Fools jokes that ruins things for people. I usually tell my Dad I’m pregnant or something just to get a rise out of him though. I totally sing the alphabet song. Haha!
I never do April Fools. Too much work involved in an actual worthy prank.
The blog rules & the shower arguments are totally me!
April fools day is my least favorite day of the year (yes, including tax day). I think tricks and pranks are just mean. I’m with you on the stupid blogging rules posts. <3
anti april fools. i don’t find it funny…ever. i don’t get it.
I have a total bias against Lily because of a girl I used to be friends with…she was so desperate in high school and college to be little miss sorority southern belle and like THE quintessential Lily girl and I just can’t with that. it was so annoying. I looked at the LP for Target stuff and some of it IS pretty cute, I just don’t think I can ever get over that hangup!
I don’t get or like April Fools either! I know some people have fun with it but I dunno, it’s just not for me.
Ummm taking more baths is a great goal. In fact, I think it just became a goal of mine for today! 😉
Winning fake arguments? Yes- all the time!
Some pranks go way to far so while I enjoy some, a lot of them just leave me like uhhh. I still think LP collection looks like granny’s floral couch threw up. Sigh maybe it will grow on me.
