My mind is always going. Sometimes it is for a personal issue, a work thing, and big life stuff. Other times it is over things that really make no real difference but still have me questioning. Like…
–Does anyone ever win the Goodreads give-aways? I swear I have signed up for about 100 and never won a single one!!!
–Who is getting all the Influenster boxes I take surveys for and never hear back from? No really, who?!?! And why aren’t my answers good enough?!?!
–What do my dogs do all day when we are at work?
–Is it the chicken or the egg?
–Can there be infinite numbers of me and infinite numbers of universes?
–Horrific and terrific never made any sense to me. Why is something that is horrible horrific, yet terrific and terrible are completely different things. Who did this?!
–You can be overwhelmed and you can be underwhelmed, but can you just be whelmed?
–What is really out in the sky past the moon and stars that we can see? Is what we think of earth and our solar system really just a locker or a necklace like Men in Black?
–Why are crocs still in stores?
–Does Apple do things so that we get pissed with our iPhones shortly before the newest model is due to come out? I think yes. They have to. It’s like the announcement that a new phone is coming out happens today and tomorrow my battery life is shit and three days from now I suddenly have no space on my phone.
–Why do all the “bad foods” have to taste so good and cauliflower have to be the nastiest tasting grossest smelling thing ever?

My stepson’s favorite vegetable is cauliflower. I swear he’ll eat that over mashed potatoes. What’s wrong with his brain?
If I had endless amounts of money, I’d totally get a pet cam. Have ’em all over the house and backyard to watch what my fur babies do all day. I have no doubt there’d be a lot of cat naps, but I’m still interested in seeing for myself.
I won a Goodreads giveaway once! But it was years ago when I first joined. And I never finished the book, so I guess it wasn’t that exciting. I just got my first NetGalley book and am all excited to read it once I finish the book I’m on now. I have no space on my phone and I think my upgrade is in November *tear.* I want the same phone I have now, just bigger in space.
Didn’t they just find a whole other GALAXY this week? Space just freaks me out – I dont like to think about it… makes my brain hurt.
Confession: I dont mind crocs. I have a few pairs – but they’re not the ones you see & everyone makes fun of – but Crocs really do make some really cute shoes. I have a pair I wear for when I do weddings 🙂

Hi, linking up for the first time here! *waves* Omg you are so right about unhealthy food being so delicious. I’m supposed to be eating better and it is just not happening because things like cauliflower are SERIOUSLY the grossest ever. Ack. And somehow (even as an English major) it never occurred to me about “horrible/horrific” “terrible/terrific,” so you pretty much blew my mind with that!!

bahaha. I tried cauliflower fried rice and spit it out. Then was pissed I spent money on it when I could have bought a box of Uncle Ben’s that I would have eaten. Also, I oddly get a ton of influenster boxes, but it does go in phases where I get none at all. I also wonder what the boxers do when I’m at work all day, as during the summer they pretend to be good dogs when I am home with them.
I actually like the crocs that look like shoes. I can’t believe it. But it’s the truth.

I have to say the same for broccoli, it stinks up the entire house! And I hate when steam bags try to rip you off by giving you mostly broccoli stems instead of the flowery head part (I’m sure it has a name….but I’m tired)

I definitely think apple messes with the phones. Every time a new one comes out, tons of people are complaining about problems with their old ones. I don’t think it’s a coincidence.
That iPhone question is actually a pretty funny joke in Season 1 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Hilarious show. I highly recommend.

ha-ha I’ve always wondered about the influenster boxes too. I was a little more aggressive in the beginning but when I’ve only had two to review I’m a little meh over the time it takes to try!
I’ve never considered horrific and terrific and now it’s going to bug me! This is why English is so hard for people who didn’t learn it as a first language struggle with it- we can’t even understand it! I’m totally with you on thinking Apple does it on purpose. Is there a new one coming out soon? Because mine keeps telling me my “storage is full” and hasn’t been backed up in 8 weeks… oops.
With the Influenster boxes, I almost always feel like I don’t get picked for the ones that would make the most sense. And then I’ll get the ones that I’m not that enthused about- ha! And I love cauliflower so I just can’t help you on that one 😉

I’ve always wondered the same thing about those influenster surveys! They should tell you why you didn’t qualify. I was also curious about what Lola does all day long until my husband started working from home and realized she sleeps ALL day long so don’t try to mess with her to play!
Cauliflower is disgusting –ALSO, I only know that Orion’s Belt constellation because of Men In Black — I freaking love that movie, and I don’t care who knows it!! Who are these people that have trouble gaining weight? I’d punch them too!
Don’t laugh at me, but we totally had video surveillance in our house for safety and such, but we totally use it to watch our dog when we’re gone. I just now peeked in on him and he’s currently snoozing away on the couch. That’s where he is 99% of the time that we’re gone, ha!

I definitely have written posts like this because there are just so many things that do not make sense at all. Like, where does my cat go when she leaves the backyard? What are my dogs thinking when they watch me in the shower? Why does the ice in Dunkin’ Donuts coffee never melt?
Hahaha I’ve wondered a lot of these things! I also frequently wonder how anyone would want to drive under the speed limit, or why they are terrible drivers at all. Just WHY?
that is so true about influenster. i never get boxes. i think i have decent stats/reach, but oh well!! i don’t mind cauliflower but cannot stand the smell or taste of asparagus. or english peas.
