–I really love confession day! I feel like it is a great way of getting to know people…and realize that maybe you aren’t so weird after all. Wait, what? Oh, ok maybe we are.
–I don’t bite my nails, unless I have one that I chipped or snagged.
–I do bite around my nails. This has to be the worst habit ever. I would like to say I will stop this immediately. I won’t.
–I kind of like grocery shopping. I like looking at all the products out there, investigating labels, seeing different packaging and groupings, and getting inspired by different things. Plus..I love the produce section. It’s so pretty. I just hate standing in line to check out, loading it into my car, and unloading it all at home.
If you don’t get this, then you probably sit at the cool table and not the nerd table with me.
–I somehow managed to tear off half of my toe nail while doing laundry Sunday night. How in the actual hell do you rip off part of your toe nail on the washing machine I have no clue. I managed to find a way to do it though. Idiot or genius? Don’t answer that. It hurt like a bitch and now my perfectly sparkly toes are ruined. Oh, and working out isn’t much fun when your shoes press down on it, but it isn’t an excuse…I work through it.
How I see my washing machine now.
–A few months ago I started replacing sour cream with Greek yogurt. Chris never noticed, as I usually fix both of our plates while he is getting the TV ready. After about a month of using Greek yogurt, I told him casually that I had replaced it and it was “so much healthier.” Now he always reminds me that I should have never told him “because I notice now.” Whatever…no you don’t! Moral of the story ladies? Just do it and say nothing.
–Every time I go to get my hair done, I never know what I want. This is absolutely ridiculous and annoying. Another down side to my indecisive personality. I started coloring my hair about 6 or 7 years ago. It started out with just a few blonde highlights, then it went a lot of blonde highlights and everything in between. Then last year I decided I wanted to go dark. Darker than my natural color (medium brown with some lighter in it, I was born sort of blond then it turned auburn then it turned brown all by the time I was 2). I did that, but I kept some light highlights in it. Last time I went to get my hair done back in September? I went ALL dark. The color has faded now, as it always does and I have split ends that have split ends so it is time to see my girl Kerri again! The question is….what do I do?!?! This is where I need your help! What do you think I should do?
After I cut off about 6 inches of hair, with partial highlights:
A lot of light (and a friend I miss dearly and need to visit!!):
Low lights with my natural base and highlights (this was taken right after I left the salon):
A lot of highlights with my natural base after it has faded over time:
Dark with some highlights….and two beach trips that always turns my hair lighter:
What it looked like after I went all dark:
A few weeks ago after months of fading:
Ok…..so what color should I go for? I feel like some of my lighter days really washed out my skin color but I do plan on getting some tanning lotion to use to bring some color to my ghostly skin. Pasty is the new sexy, bitches! My current color is maybe a little too dark, as some of my hairs come back blonde and they almost look gray because of the contrast. As you can see, I have baby fine flat hair. I just blow dry and do a little straightening in the morning to smooth it out. Any cut suggestions other than just a trim? Do NOT say bangs. I hate bangs. I thought they would be a great idea a few years back and it took me 3 solid years to not look awkward anymore!
See..bangs are not good for people with thin hair. Neither is no eye liner. Woof.
These are some of the colors I like:
Not the purple but the other colors!
It looks like I am leaning toward staying dark with maybe some highlights, but I am open to anything!

I do the same thing with my nails! I don’t bite the nail, but my cuticles are a hot mess because I bite and pick at them constantly!
I have hair indecision too, I want something awesome and different but I never do it. I’d say go natural with a few highlights, no bangs they’re to much work!
I like the highlights over your natural base! I need to get a haircut too because my split ends also have split ends but I never want to spend the money! I mean it’s worth it and I do it infrequently so it isn’t crazy but still! I am with you on pasty is the new sexy – can we make that into a meme and get everyone on board?
i would stick with your natural color and then ask your stylist how you can highlight your hair to bring out the features of your face. you have pretty eyes! i’m a moron when it comes to anything fashion or beauty related so sorry i’m of no help
thanks for linking up!

For color: you should stick with the darker tones. Light tones wash you out. I would say a deep chocolate/cherry base with caramel highlights. Your story about the washing machine and your toenail made my stomach twist. Seriously. The worst. Ooof!
I like the one underneath the purple.
I also like grocery shopping.
I am the worst with my cuticles, especially if I’m stressed or anxious about something! I don’t even realize I’m doing it until it’s too late and then they take forever to heal. My nail lady always gets mad at me. 🙁 I love the colors in the first, fourth, and fifth options. Beautiful!
i pick the 3rd picture!!!!
haha I hate bangs too. My mom always wants me to get them because I have a big forehead but I don’t even care. Bangs are awful. For the hair, I think the 3rd one and the last one are too dark, there’s not enough contrast. All the others I like though! #1 is probably my favorite.
Love the first picture in your “colors that I like!” I think it will be great for summer!
You know how I feel about this greek yogurt situation. That picture is so freaking perfect I need to print that out and do a blind taste test 😉
Not the purple highlights? I actually really like those 🙂 When I was 18 I had brown hair with blonde and purple highlights – subtle and classy (if purple can be classy!). I wish I could do that again, but I’ve got this here professional job and “grown up” life to live…
I’ve been dyeing my hair lately too and also get indecisive! For me, I know I am too lazy to go to the salon constantly to get touchups. When I had highlights for awhile, my stylist would just do them under my part so my roots weren’t as noticeable – so it was nice that I could keep up with the highlights but not have to go super often. Hopefully you figure out something you like!
GROCERY DAY IS MY FAVORITE DAY!!!!
I like you with dark hair best!!!! Those rich chocolatey colors are gorgeous!
I LOVE grocery shopping. It’s sick how often I want to go!!
I am always changing my hair color up and being indecisive so I get ya girl! I like the first pic under the colors I like choices. 🙂 If anything just a few light highlights will compliment your eye color. 🙂
I savour, result in I discovered exactly what I was having a look

Everything typed made a lot of sense. But, consider this, what
if you added a little content? I am not saying your content is not solid,
but what if you added a title that makes people
want more? I mean Confessions and Searching for Hair Color Help!
– Life By Nadine Lynn is a little vanilla. You ought to peek at Yahoo’s front page and see how they
create news titles to get people interested.
You might add a related video or a related picture or two to get readers excited about what you’ve written. In my opinion, it could make
your website a little bit more interesting.
