YAYYYYY for baby girl, so so happy for you! I may or may not have a pair of MK pink ballet flats for my hopefully some day baby girl. π hahah, I couldn’t resist-they were on clearance at Marshall’s!
AH! Congratulations!! Little girls clothes are the cutest. My niece has a couple things from the Michael Kors line and I’m obsessed! I’ve made my sister save all the good stuff in case I have a girl one day! And thank you for sharing my post! I could never ban my favorite “f” word, either. π
Girls are so much fun to shop for. All the baby girl clothes? Start saving now!
MK for babies… oh my goodness. Designer baby stuff is THE BEST!!!!!!
I would totally be buying all of the little girl things too! I’m so excited for you to have a girl, and your sister’s reaction is so awesome! I love that GIF of eating pho because it’s so totally true! It takes a couple of times to get the hang of it, but it’s so good! I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Congrats Nadine!!! A little girl will be so fun! Must buy all the things! And I totally had a feeling you were pregnant! Being pregnant gives you the ability to predict who’s next π
NADINE!!!!! I had a second when I saw your gender reveal above and felt like the worst blog friend ever! I was like HOW did I not know she has been pregnant for 20 freaking weeks? I’m so relieved you just announced it and I only missed it a week ago. Phew. That being said – CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are going to have so much fun with your little girl!
whaaaat? that sigma kit is amazing– I actually need a new brush I’ve had mine for such a long time & I’ve always wanted to try one of those mats. I get Kat from 10 Things I Hate About You for that quiz even though I don’t think it’s so accurate, haha. And YAY for a baby girl!
So excited for you and that little girl!!! Aden + anais everything, seriously buy it all!! π I may be the only nerd who noticed this, but your gif about closing the wrong tab- did you know you typically can find it? Up in the little menu area of your browser where you can choose new tab, new window, print, etc- there should be a history option that shows your most recently closed tabs!

Yay for all the girlie things!! Love! π

THose rose gold earrings OH MY GOD. I need Rose Gold with Navy. Or Silver Sparkles with Rose Gold. My engagement ring is rose gold and its all i can do to not buy EVERYTHING in rose gold.
Yay for a little girl! So exciting. I know it’s a long way away but I can’t wait to hear the name you picked. I love hearing baby names, haha. Your sister’s reaction is absolute gold.
They are my favorite earrings ever, I get sooo many compliments on them! I have the multicolored ones, ahh it’s all I can do not to buy more!
Ok stop it right now! MK has a baby line – YES!!! That’s going to be dangerous for our little girls. Could not be more excited for you guys! YAY for more baby girls <3
OMGGGGG. I just checked in for the first time in a week or so (I’ve not been blogging, but been lurking!) and was like, “did i miss something?” Clearly I did! Good job on the whole first try thing and I can’t believe you made it half way through without saying anything!
I am still giddy and over the moon about your baby girl news! And also, Better than Ezra’s “Good” is the PERFECT summer song!
those baby things are so cute but trust me, they grow out of the faster than you can clothe them! i have baby uggs that kayla only got to wear twice because then she grew out of them. i still have them because they’re so cute – THEY ARE BABY UGGS
Go you for holding out for 19 weeks before announcing! I’m not sure I would be able to hold back. lol Girls are so much fun to shop for and you already found some adorable shoes! I wouldn’t be able to resist buying all the cute things. The rose gold KS earrings are gorgeous. I prefer them to the pink glitter ones I have because they’re just much more practical.
Sorta long story, but it’s applies to a couple of things you shared: A friend of mine and I who have known each other since we were 13 and have reconnected in recent years through the power of fb…well, we were having a conversation a couple of years ago…and in that conversation she told me that since having young daughters, that she has consciously attempted to eliminate the use of the “f” word (fat). She has battled with her size all her life, and her girls were showing the same body shape. They are active children, she provides sensible, healthy meals, but they are children…and if they snack on cheerios or have some oreos and have a pudgy little belly, that is JUST FINE. Funny enough, one of her daughter’s favorite snacks is actually kale chips. Anyway, my friend remembers significant moments in her life when the “f” word was directed to her from her mother, her grandmother, classmates, even a teacher, and how that impacted her body image and self-worth. Ever since that conversation with my friend, I have tried removing the word myself. Because all too often, I was (and still do) throwing it inwards and calling myself “fat”, and I have been doing this to myself for a loooooooong time…even when I weighed 125 pounds. I think it is fantastic that mothers of young daughters are becoming aware and much more conscious of this word, and building up their daughter’s self-image instead of judging them or tearing them down.
And, now, you will be a mother of a daughter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved that post on the “f” word!!! So excited for Baby Girl! Don’t buy too much baby stuff – you’ll get tons of gifts! And the GIF’s always make me chuckle!
You know… I went to that new Vietnamese restaurant downtown… Saigon, I think… a few weeks ago and had pho for the first time. I wasn’t much of a fan. Then again, I probably should have looked at the menu, paid attention, and ordered one that didn’t include tripe and tendon.
I have so totally lusted after those earrings forever too, love anything in rose gold and how perfect for the girl mom-to-be!
Hooray for all things girly! Girls are so much fun to shop for…until they’re in middle school. Then you want to just lock them in a tower. Lol.
I got Sarah Bailey from The Craft on the quiz!
