So, if you remember my winter goals, you will recall that one of my goals is to start getting the house organized and decorated. I got started on that this past weekend with our kitchen. I got rid of some of the clutter on the counters, organized and repurposed some of the cabinets, and cleaned really good. It felt so good when I was done that now I am inspired to organize EVERYTHING. The problem is, when I have an itch to do something like this…I want it ALL done right meow!
Calm down Nadine. You goal was to work on this room by room and do just a few things each month as to not become overwhelmed. Plus, organizing and decorating calls for some money to be spent…and I don’t want to spend all the money on all the things in one month. I have been on Pinterest just pinning away and getting inspiration and ideas. I have so many ideas and different thoughts on what I want to do with each space, that it is hard to really choose. That is why I haven’t really done anything, I guess.
Here are some of my favorite organizational projects that I want to do:
And just for fun. I was looking into different ideas to organize our ever expanding gaming collection/consoles in our basement and this image came up. I would love to turn our basement into this!
What are your favorite organization projects that you have done? I would love to hear everyone’s ideas!

I love the jewelry station and the basement would be amazing! I want to get on a decorating kick, too, but I am out of surfaces to put stuff on. I think my office at work will be my next project!
I love the nail polish spice rack but I’d need a lot and I have no wall room right now, so they’ll stay in their boxes.
I use a box system in my freezers and fridge. I am working on an organizing on the cheap post for this month!
That closet with the boots- I need that closet. That’s the worst part, trying to organize shoes.
my favorite way to organize my house is to hire someone to do it. i tried and sort of did it but then ran out of steam and left all the boxes that are supposed to beautifully organize my stuff on the floor of my closet. still in their packaging. that i bought 5yrs ago. so clearly, i am not an organizing maven as i would like to think 🙁

I love any and everything organizational 🙂 But I love de-cluttering even more haha. One day my kitchen will look as nice as those two! I just don’t have much stuff in there right now. I’m slowly learning to cook more.
i am seriously such a bad organizer. SO BAD i need to work on it for sure!these are awesome ideas!
That fridge looks beautiful!!! (Did I just say that out loud?)
That wrap station is pretty awesome. We did our pantry in the fall and it was so worth it! I think having it so organized makes us focus a lot more on what we buy, which in turn helps with spending less at the store and buying less junk to eat.
I LOVE organizing. I started with the spaces under my two bathroom sinks this weekend. It felt so good to get them in order and throw out expired stuff. I have the problem of wanting to spend hours organizing and then I lose track of time and what I’m really supposed to be doing! I love the bathroom and pantry organizations pins. Those are areas that are tucked away so I tend to let them go too much.
Aw, i thought this was an very excellent post. In concept I would like to invest writing in this way moreover – taking time and actual effort to manufacture a extremely great article… but exactly what do I say… I procrastinate alot and no indicates apparently go completed.
