35 – The number of bottles of nail polish that I gave to my sister and nieces last weekend. I honestly have a ridiculous amount of polish for someone who rarely has her nails painted. I basically rotate the same 5-6 colors on my toes during sandal season and I maybe paint my finger nails once every other month for about four days. Or however long it takes for them to chip. I don’t see me upping that frequency with an infant. I mean seriously, who has the time to wait for them to dry. Zoe says I don’t.
10 – The number of pounds I am away from my pre-pregnancy weight.
40- The number of pounds I actually want to lose.
0- The motivation I have some days to do anything about the last two statements.
4 – The number of segments it took me to get through my last work out. Someone needed a bottle. Then someone wouldn’t take a nap. You see where I am going with this, right?
7- The number of years Chris and I have been together. Our dating anniversary was January 10th and our engagement anniversary was February 19th. August 1st will be my 7 year anniversary of being a resident of Alabama.
5 – The number of bedtime books I read to Zoe last night. Little Miss loves to look at the pictures and hear mommy’s silly voices. I hope that means shes going to be a reader!
50 – The approximate number of magazines that are stacked in my office to read. Behind much?
12 – The number of calls I made for work yesterday during Zoe’s nap. The first time in a long time that I didn’t get sent to voicemail or have someone be rude with me. It was quite refreshing.
129- The number of minutes it took me to drop Zoe off and get to my office with traffic. RIDICULOUS!!!! This is why I like working from home most days. I get to see Zoe, I get so much more done because I can start earlier and not have to worry about getting ready and driving there. And I mean, who wants to sit in their car for 2 hours one way???? Not me. Not me at all.
3- The number of rings I wear on my fingers every day. Engagement ring, wedding band, and Zoe’s birthstone that Chris got me for Christmas.
1- Tattoo that I have on my upper right shoulder. I still want one on my wrist. I wanted to do it last year but then I got pregnant.
2- How many times Zoe rolled on to her belly yesterday then got pissed because she hates being on her belly.
My MIL sent me this picture when I was at the office Monday. She rolled over for her too. How cute is her ruffle butt?

OMG our girls had those pants with ruffle bums…SO cute. I love it!!! Someday she’ll love rolling all over the place hopefully 😉 I love that she loves picture books!! I’m sure she will grow up to love reading thanks to her mommy 🙂
oooh i hope Zoe is gonna be a reader!
look at that ruffle butt. love it. so cute. love that chris got you a birth stone ring for Zoe – so precious.
OMG, that ruffled butt is beyond precious! Oh sweet girl, 129 minutes for your commute, no wonder you love working from home. Don’t even get me started on nail polishes, I just threw over a dozen of them out. Why do I do this? Ha ha. I just knew Zoe would love mama reading to her, I bet your voices are so fun and I hope she inherits your love of reading, well I know she will!! 😉
Look at that cute ruffled butt! That is great that she already rolled over. She will be walking and talking before you know it. I cannot believe it takes you 2 hours to get to work. That is so crazy. I would think working from home would be much better.
129 minutes- I would have had a breakdown. I don’t do well with traffic haha. I love these kind of posts and her ruffle butt- the cutest! I love that you read 5 books before bed too, how sweet- little bookworm Zoe 🙂
129 one way?!?!?! That’s crazy! I have an almost hour-long commute with no traffic on most days, but if it took that long just one way, I’d be PISSED!
Those ruffle pants are adorable 🙂 And it cracks me up when babies roll themselves onto their tummies and then realize they’ve made a grave mistake. Hahaha.
0 motivation but going back to get your workout in after 4 interruptions?? I’d say you’ll lose those 10 to 40 lbs in no time!
I seriously own way too many nail polishes too. And if ever a company makes a TRULY fast-drying formula, I’d buy 18 bottles of that stuff lol. Waiting for it to dry is the worst!
Traffic is the worst. Ain’t nobody got time for that! I love her little ruffle butt. So cute.
Good for you still working hard at that weight. I always ALWAYS say I cant imagine being a momma & trying to work out. Being pulled from every direction – literally in some cases 😉
I so bet your girl is going to be a reader. Keep at it – it really does make a difference.
OMG the rolling and disrupting their sleep. DROVE ME CRAZY!
keep up the workouts, girl; it’s tough but you’re doing awesome!
I’m the exact same way when it comes to painting my finger nails! I always have the best intentions of painting my nails and then I know that I’m going to be doing something that requires using my hands so I put it off. I wish that I could work from home too! I swear that it would be so much more convenient, but I’m not sure if I would actually be that productive.
This is so fun!
Oh man, babies hate being on their bellies. Why?! I don’t know.
My tattoo is on my right shoulder too, on my shoulder blade! 🙂
Yay you for getting your workout done. What kind of workouts do you do from home? I’m going to try from home. It’s hard for me to get to the gym.
It’s so funny how mad they get about rolling over. Chris used to tell Jack, “YOU DID THIS TO YOURSELF” hahaha.
Go Zoe go! She’s doing awesome rolling over! Serena is a champ sometimes, and other times gets frustrated and fussy. And girllll I can’t tell you how many workouts have been paused or cut short due to someone not napping or needing to eat. I just tell her “Oooook you win!” lol.
That ruffle butt — SO CUTE. I love these kinds of posts, and I seriously would have had a massive meltdown for being in the car that long in the morning. it makes total sense to work from the house when all that time could have been spent working/praying for Zoe naps. 🙂
Whoa, I bet your relatives were pretty excited about all the nail polish they inherited! This March it’s 7 years with my husband, too. 2010 was a fun year. 🙂 I wear a ridiculous amount of rings everyday–today it’s nine.
I need to toss my nail polish too. I legit NEVER paint mine- there’s no reason to keep it around. That ruffle booty is too cute!! T didn’t roll over for forrrrrever so he was always mad and frustrated that he couldn’t get there- ha!
Oh boy, I’ve never counted my nail polish and I’m not sure I want too lol. I’m sure your niece must have loved that! Ugh, that commute does not sound fun. I really wish my job allowed a work from home option, Aww, she is already rolling onto her stomach?! Beautifully Candid
I loved this list!! Too cute! I have over 300 bottles of polish–I didn’t buy them all, I swear!!!
I LOLed so hard at the motivation on the ground one. I’ve been really good about food lately, but the exercise, man. Just, no.
I’d like to lose 20394820348 pounds. I need to pick up my weights in front of the TV again. I’m slacking. You are doing great!
LOL I absolutely always have polish on and have too many bottles, but MUCH less than I used to have.
I’d say 10 lbs is great progress so far even though you have a larger goal. I’m sure finding the time to work out is tough with your new working-mommy role but hopefully it will fall into place. Working from home would be so ideal for a new mom…some companies really need to get with the program if your job can be done remotely.
[…] brushes were 2 for $5. Um, ok!!! These brushes feel amazing and are so pretty!!! I got the blush, flat top and eyeshadow. Remind me of some higher end ones. I also have been dying to try the Lancome cushion […]
So much nail polish! I’ve given away lots of it over the years as well so I’m with you there. And that ruffle butt is so stinkin’ cute!
