You guys, sometimes one of you will post something that just resonates with me. Whether it is your post topic, a quote you shared, a picture, just something really sinks in and I sit and think about it and take the words as a sign.
Over the past week I have seen a few posts and then my Momentum dashboard quote one day is literally telling me that it is time. Ok universe, I get it!!!
While this is totally vague, and I hate vague things, today’s post is more of a reminder to all of us. What are we waiting for? Life is short, and we just don’t know how much time we have to do all the things that we want to do. We keep waiting and saying well when this happens or that happens I will be ready. The truth is, you can never be 100% ready. Taking the first step is on you. Now is as good as a time as any.
You will become courageous. You will become an inspiration. You will like yourself. You will learn new things. You will grow. You just have to take that leap of faith.
Have you ever really listened to the amazing words of Switchfoot?

I think about this all the time and since I am on old lady I can tell you… it’s true. Take the leap. Do it now, whatever “it” is. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. And… you will never regret trying!
Holy hot dogs, I’m in love with this post. This was awesome – and so right on cue for what we were talking about yesterday. you know how much faith I have in you — Let’s take this leap!!
I do not agree with waiting for Friday, next week, summer, when I lose the weight, when I’m ready. Life is too short.
oh i loved these words of encouragement today. SO NEEDED!
Love this post! Could not have come at a better time in my life!
Yes take the chance, do the thing! You only have one short life with which to do all the things.
I’m excited for you your vague journey and hope it’s all you dream it will be.
LOVE this post- it’s a message I needed reminded of today, too! So thank you 🙂 And cheers to reaching dreams- I’m rooting you on from Ohio!!!
Taking a leap or a risk always pays off some way, some how! You never want to wonder what if!!

I love this. It’s so important to remember we don’t have unlimited time. Life is too short to wait around!
I want to pin all of these motivational quotes.
Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of our potential to take changes… thank you for that!
Yes yes yes!! Fist pumping! I’m in the process of taking a big leap and this post is perfection! Thank you!
yes girl! is this what we were talking about the other day? because if so, yes. and if not, still yes. so true. all of it. life is effing short, what is the point in not doing what you want?!
Good luck with whatever you’re leaping towards! I love reading posts with a message that resonates with me–just like this one!!
I adore Switchfoot! They’re words are incredible.
I agree; if you wait for the perfect time, you’ll wait forever because it’s never the perfect time for anything. Just stop waiting and do.
100% true, life is too short! We should go for it because we might not be here tomorrow!
I love this! That last one is one of my favorite quotes. I feel like this resonates with me too, I feel like I finally took that leap and it paid off, because I’m leaving the job that I felt stuck in, but secure in, and the leave is a risk, but an oh so good one! I can’t wait to hear more about what you are jumping off into friend!
You’re so right. Life is too short not to risk it so take that leap of faith.
Always a great reminder . . . and I’m excited to hear about what good things are coming for you! And yes, life is short so just do it!
You go, girl. Whatever you’re doing, we’re behind you!
Time goes by so fast, already. I can’t believe it and I really feel lately that I don’t want to waste it doing something I’m not happy with!
I laugh at myself sometimes because I see these “take a leap”, “take risks”, “just jump” memes…especially the one that says something to the effect “I want to quit my job, fall in love, run away” type sentiment…because I did just that. (moving from TX to Oz) But, I’ve found that I will know use it as my crutch. Why be risky now? I’ve already moved half way around the world. Well, because my life isn’t over. I need to continue to leap, to jump, to risk to experience even more of what this great life has to offer.
and now YOU have motivated us with these great quotes and words of wisdom. i hope whatever it is you are leaping for works out! best of luck to you 🙂
Love, Love, Love this! I think it’s always interesting to look back on that “moment” or “step” that you finally took and to see how much it really impacted and changed your life. We sometimes sit by in fear of taking risks, when like you said we only have one life to live and we need to live it! Great post, Nadine! 🙂
Love love love all of these!
Yes to all of these! NOW is the time, not later!
