Bloggers tend to slow their roll in the summer, and we plan to do the same around here. The Confessions Linkup will now be a monthly thing. Instead of coming here every Wednesday, you will come here the first Wednesday of the month to spill all your secrets! That means Wednesday, July 6th will be the next link up.
Now that we have the administrative stuff out of the way…
I have had this post in drafts for a long time. Like we are talking at least a year. I had seen a few other people do them, one as recent as last week I think. My brain seems to fail me as to who it was. Anyways. ย Never had I ever finished it….until now!
Never have I ever…
–Sky dived
–Been to another country other than Canada. Does that even count as another county?
–Skipped school without an excuse from my parents.
–Stripped or streaked in public.
–Smoked or even take a puff of a cigarette. That shit is nasty.
–Dyed my hair a weird color.
–Eaten an oyster. Saw a friend get near death ill from eating a bad one so I doubt I will ever try one. Or at least not a raw one!
–Cheated on a test.
–Been further west than Texas or Kansas City, Kansas.
–Had Pho. I am going to change that soon. Possibly on Friday with the opening of a new restaurant!! It looks delicious!
–Broken a bone other than a toe. And let me tell you, I have broken a toe or a few more than I care to admit!
–Driven faster than 100 mph. Though I have ridden in a car that has gone faster.
–Flirted my way out of a speeding ticket.
–Been arrested.
–Played spin the bottle.
–Shot a gun.
–Hitchhiked
–Put someone’s hand in warm water to try and make them pee.
–Camped outside over night.
–Worked in the food industry.
–Tried sneaking out of the house when I was younger. My parents didn’t really have to worry about me, I was the “good kid.”
–Been to Disneyworld or Disneyland. This has got to change people!!! I have been on Disney’s campus in Orlando to stay at a resort for work…but I have never gotten to enjoy the park.
–Had braces.
–Had a fake ID.
What have you never done?
Confessions in ecard
This is true, when I was younger my biggest fear was losing my mom in a store and being alone forever. Even today, if I am out shopping with her and we part to look at different things, if I can’t find her after about 2 minutes when I start looking for her I called her cell phone panicked. Hahaha….
Link up with Kathy and I and spill all your secrets!

Sure, Canada counts…because I’ve never been to Canada, and I’d sure like to go.
You were a good kid. No skipping school. No smoking. No sneaking out. Your parents must be proud ๐ My older brother is the one who caught me sneaking out. I’ll tell you what, he scared me more than my mom ever did. I cried for days after.
Lol, I’ve done several things that are on your list and can tell you you’re not missing much. I’d say 50% of the time, I did not enjoy working in the food industry. People were rude and half the time they didn’t even tip. It definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth for the industry, but I’ve had good and bad experiences. The bad just tends to outweigh my good lol. I’ve never had Pho either. Funny story- we were flying to Vegas and the couple next to us was talking about Pho and how it’s supposed to be the cure for a hangover. We saw Pho while we were there, but never got the chance to put that theory to the test. Some things I’ve never done…never broken a bone, so thankful for that, never streaked and probably never will lol, and never have flirted my way out of a ticket. I just apologized and begged for a warning, and possibly queued the waterworks.
And by not missing much* I’m referring to the food industry lol.
a lot of these are the same for me too!! i have no desire to sky dive. never tried a cig (love smokers, but they ALL smell like smoke. they can’t tell, but we all can), never worked in food industry
i tried a cigarette once when i was in france but only because we had been doing tequila poppers, i was totally tanked and some french dude offered me one. i nearly threw up and had to run to the bathroom LOL.
Never have I ever was my favorite drinking game in college, fun!! I also have never had a cig.. .sad how rare that is even for our generation! I have also never sneaked out, been arrested, or cheated. I was the good girl too. Rebelled a little in college then, but nothing too bad. Oysters make me gag.
Hmmmmmm a few things on that list I have done and now you are getting me thinking this morning ๐
Yep so many of these for me too….the good kid….except that one time I was at an underage drinking party that got busted, yep…in the slammer for an hour…longest hour of my life without a Kleenex too!! LOVED reading this and so many if the memes fit me to a T!!! Happy Wednesday!!
Pho is delicious, but not ideal this time of year. If you are eh on it, try it again in the fall or winter! I only like oysters when they’re covered in cheese and cooked and don’t really taste like anything… kind of defeats the purpose!
We have so many similarities, its crazy… I’ll just call you my little sister from now on, OK?
What a fun post! I have never sky dived and have no desire too. Not a fan of heights.
I have one of these drafted! It’s basically finished, but for some reason I keep not posting it. I share a lot of these–I know for a fact that ‘eaten an oyster’ is in my post though!
Great list! And I couldn’t agree with you more on oysters and sky diving. But we need to get out of the country and of course back here for Disney! Would love for you to come back to O-Town ๐
I’ve never been arrested, broken a bone, worked in the food industry, or had a fake ID.
haha I was a good kid too. I never skipped school without parental permission and I never tried sneaking out. It also helps that I (a) never had a curfew and (b) am an only child. I feel like you don’t do as many ‘bad’ things as an only child because it’s much easier to get caught when two parents are watching and worrying about just one kid!
bleccch i tried a cigarette when i was like 13 and i hated it, haven’t touched it since.
i will try and remember july 6th! you might need to remind me lol
ew to oysters. no thanks. scary about your friend! now i am definitely not going to.
i never had a fake id (though the drinking age at home is 18) and i didn’t sneak out either. never needed to, or wanted to.
as for the food industry – the only thing that i got out of that was to learn that the world is full of really, really, really shitty people.
Skydiving is on my bucket list- My husband is trying to convince me not to do it…but I want the thrill! Also, props to you for never ever smoking. Again, my husband..but he’s never tried either. I give you guys credit- I succumbed to the peer pressure years ago. I don’t smoke anymore and I didn’t regularly start after I tried my first one because I was WAY too young. Anyways..my story is getting too long…LOL…good for you, that’s awesome!
But 100 MPH is pretty darn fast! I don’t think my little honda civic could even handle that….
Canada is definitely another country as long as they are responsible for Justin Bieber.
It appears I’m much less innocent than you lol. I’ve never broken a bone either thank goodness!
I never got a fake ID when I was underage because I knew there was no way in hell it would work. I’m a terrible liar and even now at 27 I get mistaken for a high schooler from time to time…so there was no convincing anyone I was of age when I wasn’t! I’ve also never flirted my way out of a speeding ticket but I have cried. Not intentionally, but because I was so freaked out that I was going to get points or something and my body’s first response is to just cry! I think the cop felt bad for me.
Anything that requires a passport totally counts! I never had braces or broke anything *knock on wood* Definitely had a fake ID. Well actually, it was my friend’s sister’s expired ID that said I was like 26 when I was 20 lol. Bouncers weren’t looking too closely though ๐ I hope you get some Pho- I just had it for the first time 2 years ago and wondered how I lived life so long without it!
We share a lot of nevers! Mostly the “goody two shoes” ones. I never had a fake ID or snuck out or even tried smoking or skipped school or been arrested (honestly, I’ve still never even been pulled over). For some reason none of the typical “rebellion” things appealed to me as a teenager. Probably living overseas was part of it and probably the fact that I’ve always been good at seeing potential future consequences of my actions has stopped me from even entertaining the idea of doing a lot of things that people consider to be normal teen behavior. But you should totally try Pho. And travel! You know I love to travel so I feel like everyone else should too, ha!
Ohhhh…this is fun. I want to do a Never Have I Ever post…when I can finally post something again. Summer just started & I haven’t been blogging as I should. It’s just a job trying to keep up with the ones to read & comment on. Hope things slow down soon so I can steal this idea! ๐
So I got really excited that I’m not the only one that was a good girl growing up! I’ve never ditched school or smoked either. My dad smoked and I absolutely hated it! You definitely have to try Pho when that new restaurant opens up! It’s so good, even in the crazy hot weather!
What a fun idea for a post! I actually have never done almost all of the things you mentioned… except I have camped (never again), and, I grossly used to smoke. I hate that now, and despise the smell, but back in the day…
Never have I ever been to Canada. Whoops! I’ll make it there someday. You’ll love pho! Haha I’ve been eating it for breakfast.
