Monday sure did come along quickly, didn’t she? I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Our was good. Friday evening I made Korean Beef and stir fry veggies for dinner and we got caught up on a few of our shows.
Saturday morning I got a little cleaning done before Zoe woke up. We hung around the house for a little while, and then headed over to the outlets to get Zoe some shoes. I had seen some cute things at Old Navy so we went there. We got her four pairs of shoes, a sweater and a pair of leggings…everything was 50% off! I love a good sale! The jellies were on clearance for $1.47 and I got a bigger size hoping she can wear them next spring/summer. I used to love jellies when I was little.
I also scooped up this dress while I was there!!! Thanks for the rec Lindsay, I already wore it yesterday and it is sooooo comfy! It is on sale right now for $15. I ordered the burgundy color one while I was at the store too since it wasn’t there in my size. LOVE!
We were in and out of the store pretty quickly, and then headed to grab some lunch at Logan’s. I got the fried cheese bacon burger. It was so good! I was proud of myself for resisting the delicious smelling rolls they sat down at our table.
After lunch, we stopped by Chris’s parents house for a few hours to watch some football and hang out with them. One of our nephews was over there too, and Zoe was so happy to see him! When we left there, we stopped by the BBQ Stop to grab some food to take home. Best BBQ EVER!!!!! Chris said, “Well I hate this for you. Now after shopping on Sundays….you are going to have to go a lot further out of your way to bring us lunch.” LOL True. But so worth it.
If you live in the Birmingham area, it is worth the drive up to Clay to get you some of this!!! YUM!!!!
Sunday, Zoe and I headed to the grocery store early to knock out our grocery shopping. Zoe has no problem getting comfy at Target. She makes friends with everyone we come in contact with, waving at them from this position.
The rest of the day we spent catching up on shows and trying to get Zoe to nap. She finally fell asleep on me for about two hours that afternoon. Poor kiddo has a cold or something.
Chris left our house super early this morning because he heard there was a shipment of the SNES Classic at Walmart. He was able to score one!!! Guess what we will be doing all week! Linking up with Biana. Have a fabulous week!

Zoe’s new shoes….oh my, such CUTENESS!! Yay Chris on the SNES and a big yummy YES to delicious BBQ, I want some! Happy Monday sweets!
hahaha. Zoe at Target!! Looks like she is loves Target already!! I mean how can you not!
Ah now I’m officially hungry lol. That little sweater is so precious and will look so cute on Zoe. Always love finding good deals!
Oh my goodness, those clothes you got for Zoe are so adorable! And I’m totally with you on thinking about things for next season already! I’m trying to anticipate what the girls might wear in a couple of months and buying those sizes. That’s the best part about living in the South right, it’s summer like 90% of the year so it’s pretty easy to get summery clothes that will last!
Hahaha, just wait till she wants to run up and hit every red ball outside of Target. Haha. Those clothes you snagged for her are so cute! Those kitty shoes!! I want some!!
Love Zoe’s gold shoes and sweater! Stylish!
Omg, I love Zoe’s position as you shop. Too cute! And her little cat shoes are adorable. I love Old Navy; I need to go back when I have some extra cash.

This weekend went by way too fast! Love the little cat shoes you got for Zoe– I got one of the swing dresses (the more sweatery version because the others were sold out) after lindsay recommended it too and I’m loving it! That burger looks sooo good and it’s the best when you find a great bbq place!
So glad you got the dress! I ordered two more colors yesterday… couldn’t pass up that deal. All that food looks so good as I’m drinking my protein shake for lunch! Happy Monday, friend.
The weekend definitely flew! You always eat such good looking food! That Korean Beef looks really good. Happy Monday!!
OMG those little jellies — I DIE!!! kayla hated them. in fact when she was Z’s age, she pretty much hated anything on her feet 🙁
We had kind of a packed weekend, too, complete with football games, shopping, and a family get together. Seems most of my weekends are like that this time of year. I could use a weekend without plans.
I love your picks from the Old Navy sale! I always forget about Old Navy for kids’ clothes for some reason. I need to visit again.
Your weekend food always looks amazing and is making my hungry! It’s been so long since I’ve been to Old Navy, I need to get over there and check out all the awesome baby girl clothes <3

I loved jellies as a kid and now, I love Old Navy as a big kid! I love BBQ. That sounds so good right now. My dad bought an Egg last year and the BBQ is to die for, yumm.
I have that same Old Navy dress in red w/ white stripes and another in black and I pair it with tights and I get SOOOOOO many compliments on it. I really want to buy more, but I don’t really want more stripes (gasp!).
Zoe looks right at home in Target! lol. Hope she is feeling better soon!!! Have a good week!
I love that Chris left early to get the SNES Classic yesterday morning!!
Zoe is all of us in Target- happy, friendly, and totally at home. Hahaha!
That little gray sweater you bought Zoe is the cutest ever, OMG!
You made Korean BBQ?! Yum! Is it easy to make?
I love Korean beef! I need your recipe… It looks delish. Look at all the cute stuff Miss Zoe raked in and the striped dress looks so comfortable!
I loved and still love shopping at Old Navy for Erica.
I used to love Jellies too! Those are so cute and what a great price on them. I somehow always read your posts when I have a few minutes before I leave for lunch and torture myself every time lol. I love me some good BBQ!! I feel like I need to put that on our list because we haven’t ordered it in the longest. Beautifully Candid
I absolutely love Korean food! I lived there for two years. I made an awesome bibimbap a couple weeks ago.
The striped dress you bought is so cute!
What a cute dress. Lovely post 🙂
I love those Old Navy swing dresses, so comfy!! I have a red/white sleeveless one. I clicked on this one but it was $29..boo! haha So jealous you can take her to target, I can’t take me boy anywhere, he would be all over the place and sitting happily in the cart.
NOT sitting happily I meant! haha
